Hattie and James had a beautiful and incredibly fun Dewsall court wedding in Herefordshire
James and Hattie are two of the most likeable people you could ever meet. They’re both fun and charming and really don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s so easy to see what attracted them to each other after only really knowing them for a day. It was lovely as well to be with a bride and groom that were so visibly excited to get married. It’s hard to do them justice in such a few short lines. So it was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with them and their guests.
Dewsall court is a beautiful venue. It’s nestled deep in the countryside of Herefordshire. So that really didn’t hurt either. The house itself is an incredible relic of a bygone era and there’s even a church within the grounds, which makes having a wedding there a lot easier. It’s not often Brides get to walk to the church from their room in under five minutes.
Hattie and James had put a lot of thought into all of the details of their Dewsall court wedding. The venue was decorated beautifully and they’d thought of some great ways to keep their guests entertained. There were lawn games for the reception. Marshmallows for roasting. Glitter face painting to add a little more sparkle to the evening festivities and the most interesting photo booth I’ve ever seen. Plus there were some really tasty brownies that I totally sampled when no one was looking (I cant help myself around baked goods).
The whole day was so much fun and I’d totally do it again.
