Natalie and Rob had a wonderful Askham hall wedding in June.
Warm and friendly
Natalie and Rob are two of the loveliest people that you could meet. In fact the whole bunch of family and friends at their Askham hall wedding were a pleasure to be around. Everyone was so incredibly nice, genuine and down to earth. We felt very welcome from the very beginning of the day right through to when it was time to leave. Don’t get me wrong, every wedding that we’ve been to has been good. We’ve never left with a sour taste in our mouths but sometimes the vibe of the day is just so welcoming and friendly that it’s really difficult to ignore.
All the smiles
A lot of that comes down to Natalie and Rob. They’re both such incredibly lovely people that it’s easy to see that the people they surround themselves with are lovely people too. These two were so easy to get along with and they made shooting portraits with them so easy as they were constantly laughing and enjoying their wedding day. In fact I have very little footage where neither of them are laughing during the portrait session. Obviously, it’s not everyday that you’re being photographed and videoed with your partner and so for some it can feel a little awkward but these guys just seemed to relax right into it and have fun.
Classic rustic charm
What can I say about the surroundings as well. to have an Askham hall wedding in the middle of June is an absolute dream (when the weather finally decides what it’s doing). The beautiful gardens are in full bloom. on top of this it is all perfectly complimented by Natalie and Rob’s decoration choices. With a mind towards Askham hall’s setting and its charming working rustic house aesthetic, they chose flowers and decorations that fit into the surroundings perfectly. That goes for Rob’s home baked wedding cake too!
Natalie and Rob hired a classic car despite the fact that their whole wedding day was taking place at Askham hall. But if it’s your wedding day and you want a car… You get a car. The views from the nearby park are incredible so what better excuse to go for a drive. So I jumped in Jesssica Reeve’s car and chased after them. We got some lovely shots of them enjoying their joyride and their time in the park before heading back for the evening reception.
The whole day was just so much fun and I hope that comes across in the film. Congratulations to this awesome couple.
