Eleanor and James had a awesomely fun Vintage themed Alcumlow hall farm wedding.
It’s quite difficult to put into words quite how much fun I had at James and Eleanor’s wedding.
Firstly there were the couple. We met for a coffee a few days before the wedding and I instantly knew that I was going to enjoy their wedding. They’re so down to earth and fun. You can tell from the film that they’re all smiles and really don’t take themselves too seriously. They’ve been through some rough patches over the years but it really doesn’t show on either of them. On the wedding day they were exactly the same; funny, friendly and really wanting to have a good time.
Then there were the bridesmaids. I like doing bridal prep because I enjoy the buzz in the morning. Usually I try to maintain some sort of professional decorum. But there was just too much banter and I rather found myself perpetuating it at times. This carried on throughout the day culminating in my accidentally getting involved in a photo-shoot that somehow made long grass and camera equipment seem lurid and rude.
Of course there was the venue as well. Eleanor and James had gone for a theme that really suited their Alcumlow hall farm wedding venue well. They brought a 1920’s prohibition vibe to the Cheshire countryside. A theme which fit perfectly with Eleanor’s stunning vintage inspired dress. There was home made moonshine too which you obviously really need if you’re going to create your own speakeasy.
Then there were the photographers as well. I’ve never worked with Stella photography before but Seb and Silvana were an absolute blast to work with and really got in the fun spirit of the day.
Hopefully the film manages to capture at least half of the fun that was had… see for yourself
